Easy Newsletter Signups Pro

Introduction

The Easy Newsletter Signup Pro is a simple newsletter plugin which allows to display form with manageable fields. You can also change the design of the form by selecting one of the inbuilt templates. This plugin provides email notification functionality to get notification of user subscription and also to notify users about their subscription.

Installing the Plugin

  1. The installation of the plugin is just like any other plugin installation for WordPress. Login to your WordPress site and go to Plugins > Add New.
  2. At the Install Plugins Page click on Upload from the top navigation and then click on browse.
  3. Go to the location on your computer where you saved the downloaded plugin zip file and upload this zipped file. You will need to unzip the file first in order to get plugin zipped file.
  4. Click on Install Now.
  5. Please wait until WordPress has uploaded the file. When it's done, click on Activate Plugin.
  6. You will see a message 'Plugin activated' at the top of the window.

Forms

Once the Plugin is installed and activated, you will be able to see the "Easy Newsletter Signups - Pro" menu, you can manage all plugin functionality from here:

Go to Easy Newsletter Signups - Pro > Forms > Click on Add New Form:

By clicking on Add New Form it will load the below form. Here, you can see how form differentiats its each functionalities.

General

Form General

- Title
This field is required. This title will be displayed as your form title at frontend.

- Description
You can add description about the form. If you don't want to add description then just keep this field empty.

Display Fields
Initially, the form at front end will display all three fields : First name, Last Name and Email.
- First Name: Keep the checkbox "checked" , if you want to display "First Name" field at frontend.

- Last Name: Keep the checkbox "checked" , if you want to display "Last Name" field at frontend.

- Email: You don't have a choice to enable/disable email field as this is a required field.

Field Labels
Here you can set the Labels and placeholders of the First name, Last name and Email which will be displayed at frontend.
Initially the labels are set as First Name, Last Name and Email respectively. Keep these fields blank,if you don't want to display labels at frontend or you can change the labels. You can also add placeholder to these fields.

Design

Design Template

Here, you can set how form will be displayed at frontend. Currently, we are providing the below three templates.

- None: This is the default form template.

- Horizontal: Select this option,if you want to display fields in one row.

- Box Style: Select this option,if you want to display box style form.

Manage and Display Forms

All the forms which will be created are listed as shown below.

- ID: It defines the id if the form.

- Title: It defines the title of the form.

- Shortcode: Use shortcode to display specific form at frontend.

- Actions: You can edit or delete the specific form.

Subscribers

It contains list of all the subscribers who have been subscribed successfully. The details are stored in table as shown below.

Subscriber

- Form: This column displays ID and Title of the form. If you have multiple forms, then you can identify from here that for which form subscriber has been subscribed.

= Email: It defines subscriber's email id.

- First Name: It defines subscriber's First name.

- Last Name: It defines subscriber's Last name.

- Select Form: Select one of the created forms and click on the filter, will display subscriber entries for that specific form.

- Export CSV: You can also export CSV file of listed subscribers.

Settings

Here, you can enable/disable email settings for the customer and the admin.

- Enable: Keep this checkbox "checked" to send email to your customers about their successful subscription.

- Email Subject: The email will be sent with this email subject to your customers.

- Message: Enter custom message twhich will be sent as email body message to your customers. You can use 3 shortcodes to display dynamic variables as below (Please do not make any change in shortcodes.Use as it is as shown below):
{FIRSTNAME} - Displays first name field value.
{LASTNAME} - Displays last name field vlaue.
{EMAIL} - Displays email field vlaue.

Admin Email

- Enable: Keep this checkbox "checked" to send email to the admin about new user subscription.

- Email Id/Ids: Add the email id/ids to which you want to send user subscription mail. You can add multiple emails separated by Comma (,).

- Email Subject: The email will be sent with this email subject to the admin.

- Message: Enter custom message which will be sent as email body message to the admin. You can use 3 shortcodes to display dynamic variables as below. (Please do not make any change in shortcodes.Use as it is as shown below):
{FIRSTNAME} - Displays first name field value.
{LASTNAME} - Displays last name field vlaue.
{EMAIL} - Displays email field vlaue.
